Terms and Conditions of Sale

Updated Lavish T&C’s (including- The furniture warranty is 1 year. Sofas etc is a 5 year on framework but only 1 year on the material.)

1. Order Acceptance:
Our acceptance of your order will take place when:
i) We write to you to accept it (exclusive of VAT).
ii) We confirm in writing that we can provide the product.
At this point, a contract will be formed between you and us.

2. Order Rejection:
If we cannot accept your order, we'll inform you and won't charge you for the product.

3. Product Images:
The images of products in our brochure, website, or promotional materials are for illustration only.
While we display colours accurately, device or printed variations might occur.

4. Order Changes:
Contact us if you wish to modify your order. We'll inform you of the feasibility and any price/delivery changes resulting from the alteration.

5. Delays Outside Our Control:
We'll contact you if delivery is delayed due to events beyond our control. We'll take steps to minimize the impact.
You have the option to terminate the contract for a refund for any undelivered products if there's a substantial delay risk.

6. Late Delivery:
You have legal rights if we deliver late. Standard delivery is within 5-7 working days. Specialist products (sofas, furniture, etc.) might have a 6-12 week delivery timeframe due to specialized couriers. You can terminate the contract immediately if: i) We refuse to deliver the products.
ii) Delivery within the deadline was crucial.
iii) You informed us before accepting the order that timely delivery was essential.

7. Product Responsibility:
You are responsible for the product from the time of delivery to the provided address or collection from our premises (if applicable).

8. Information Requirements:
We may require information like address, name, and contact details for product delivery. We'll request this information if necessary. Failure to provide complete or timely information within a reasonable timeframe may lead to contract termination or additional charges for extra work. We won't be responsible for late deliveries or installations resulting from incomplete or delayed information.

9. Delivery Issues:
It's your responsibility to check product size and ensure it fits through doorways to the desired room. Lavish Home Interiors will not accept responsibility for property or item damage caused by access attempts. If an item doesn't fit, we'll take it back until arrangements for proper placement are made. A second delivery fee and potential storage charge may apply.

10. Product Collection:
If you choose to collect products from our premises, our working hours are:
Weekdays & Saturdays: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Sundays: Closed.

11. Failed Delivery/Collection:
If you fail to collect products as arranged, or after a failed delivery, we'll contact you for further instructions. Storage and redelivery costs may apply. If we cannot reach you or arrange delivery/collection despite reasonable efforts, we may end the contract (Clause 12 applies).

12. Contract Termination by Us:
We may terminate a product contract by writing to you if:
Payment is not made when due.
Necessary information for product delivery is not provided within a reasonable timeframe.
You don't allow delivery or collection within a reasonable timeframe (if applicable).

13. Contract Termination for Breach:
We may terminate the product contract by writing to you if the situations in Clause 12 apply.

14. Product Payment:
The remaining balance for products must be paid before collection/delivery or within 14 days of notification that the products are ready. We accept major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and PayPal.

15. Late Payment:
If you fail to pay when due (Clause 14) and remain non-compliant within seven days of our reminder, we may suspend product delivery until the outstanding amount is settled.

16. Change of Mind:
In-store purchases: No exchange or refund unless the product is faulty.
Online/telephone/remote purchases: You have 14 days after delivery to request an exchange or refund, except for:
i) Custom orders
ii) On-premise sales
